Yesterday I picked the last of the tomatoes, small ones, ideal for a salad. The summer is wanning and so are the they. Sometimes I wish I could slow time and relish the moments instead of trying to cram my schedule with a "to do" list that is unending. I read recently that most of us spend out time either reliving the past or anticipating the future. One is gone and the other may never be. I need to learn to slow down and "enjoy the veggies." Now that I think about it, speeding time is not the problem. I am the problem. How did the subject of veggies take such a strange turn?
